36 lions chairman, Hajj Liameed Gafar this Wednesday provided palliative measures for sports journalists during the COVID-19 pandemic.
These palliative kits include face masks, hand sanitizers and thermometer.
“The role of the media reportage during this pandemic cannot be over emphasized, they’ve worked diligently, thus they need to be rewarded,” the 36 lions owner opined.
“They (Media) have been relentless in the fight against Covid-19 and needed to be encouraged for their efforts. It was then I thought of providing these hardworking personnel. These kits include face masks, hand sanitizers and thermometers.
“It’s my own little way of showing gratitude to them. I remain a supporter of the great job done by the Media,” he added.
Speaking on behalf of the Media, NSM Chief Admin thanked Hajj Gafar for his hand of gesture.
He however encouraged more of well being Nigerians to join the growing number of personalities who has supported the media.
