Nigerian sports journalists this Wednesday heaved a sigh of relief as the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare donated huge sum of money to sports journalists on a reverend WhatsApp group.
The pallatives which was funded from his personal wallet was for the welfare of journalists on the most authoritative WhatsApp platform called NSM.
The honourable minister released the sum of Two hundred and fifty thousand Naira (#250,000) as a relief funds to cushion the effect of the pandemic called Corona virus (Covid 19).
The money is to support Nigerian journalists on NSM WhatsApp group, whose source of earnings has decreased or as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic which has resulted in the suspension of all major sporting activities world wide.
